Shaniece is currently enrolled in her second year at the University of Toronto Mississauga, pursuing a Master's of Science in Sustainability Management. Shaniece is an Hons graduate of the University of the West Indies, where she received a BSc. in Geography and Agribusiness.

During her first year of graduate studies, Shaniece was able to rediscover her old and long term passion for agribusiness which explains her successfully landing her first co-op position at Bayer CropScience Canada as a Sustainability Summer Associate. Here, Shaniece fulfilled many roles as a member of her inaugural class cohort and for Bayer CropScience as well. During her tenure at Bayer CropScience, Shaniece was responsible for further redefining and developing the company's Sustainability Strategic Plan, engaging with stakeholders on agricultural issues and handling specific projects related to life-cycle assessments in Regina, in addition to other tasks. Her experience working in the Ag industry and exposure to Western culture have awakened newer interests in Supply Chain Management specifically, Logistics and Distribution. She hopes to discover tangible and sustainable ways to "green the supply chain" while encouraging companies to exceed beyond profit margins.

Outside of academics, Shaniece enjoys beach cleaning, camping, planting, hiking, fitness, volunteering, badminton and outdoor activities. Various topics and causes of interest to her are animal welfare, environment, social services, education and disaster and humanitarian relief. At the end of her graduate studies, Shaniece intends on re-locating to Western Canada to explore other career possibilities in Agriculture.
