Bio
Hamna graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Digital Enterprise Management from the University of Toronto Mississauga. During her undergraduate years, she was actively involved in leadership, mentorship, and student engagement, with a strong focus on social impact and equity. Her academic and extracurricular interests have always aligned with values of community building, sustainability, and responsible innovation.
Currently, Hamna works at Ensogo, a sustainability software company focused on helping organizations measure, track, and improve their sustainability strategies. In her role, she supports clients in developing more transparent and accountable approaches to environmental performance. Her experience at Ensogo has deepened her understanding of the operational side of corporate sustainability, data systems, and stakeholder engagement.
Hamna’s long-standing interest in environmental and social issues, ranging from climate change to environmental justice and even space debris, has shaped her commitment to meaningful change. She is passionate about bridging the gap between digital innovation and sustainability practice, and she hopes to use the MScSM program to build the tools needed to drive system-level impact across sectors.
Outside of her professional interests, Hamna enjoys reading, spending time with her friends and family, exploring new coffee spots, and following her favourite football club, Chelsea FC.
