Chetna Chaudhary

Bachelor of Technology • Information Technology • GGSIPU (Delhi)

Chetna graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2013 with a Bachelor in Information technology. Then, she moved onto work as a Software Developer in the Royal Bank of Scotland. Working in a multinational organization and living in an ever expanding metro city exposed her to the horrors of negative environment impact caused by our negligence. Chetna was particularly moved by the tonnes of waste we are creating and sending to landfills.

At RBS, she started many initiatives such as plantation drives and ‘Say no to Paper cups’ campaign to reduce the company’s footprint. Chetna also formed a group ‘Rag Pickers’ in the city to raise awareness about Waste Management through cleanliness drives. RBS has a strong CSR society, Disha, and she volunteered for the various teaching sessions organized for underprivileged children.

Chetna follows people, such as Kathryn Kellogg and Lauren Singer, who are leading their lives in a way that is creating minimum negative impact on the environment and try to imbibe some of their good habits. She enjoys dancing and organizing lunches and dinners with friends and family. She is a nature lover and likes travelling/trekking to secluded, serene locations. When at home, Chetna likes to read books and solve puzzles.
