Navjot Hundle


Bachelor of Science (Hons.) • Environment & Science, Minors in Environmental Ethics & Biology •  University of Toronto


Navjot graduated in 2014 from University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science. She majored in Environment and Science and had also minored in Environmental Ethics and Biology. Her educational background had a strong focus on environmentally related lab and coursework, including a professional work experience course taken in her final year.

As an undergraduate student, Navjot completed a co-operative within a community centre in Toronto as the Community Garden Coordinator. Within this role she lead summer camp workshops on a range of topics related to urban agriculture. After graduating, Navjot took on a position at Delta Management as part of the Clean50 team. She assisted with the annual awards program hosted by the company, in which 50 sustainability professionals were recognized for their contributions to sustainable development in Canada. Navjot also had extensive experience working on environmentally related educational workshops through her position at Ecosource; a not for profit organization that focuses on environmental education to help communities take action towards becoming more sustainable. She worked as the organization’s Urban Agriculture and Environmental Education Program Assistant. In her most recent position at Credit Valley Conservation (CVC), she worked on an exciting project to come up with a corporate sustainability strategy for CVC that included gathering baseline data, and providing recommendations on how the organization can reduce their environmental footprint within a ten-year timeline.

One of Navjot’s favourite activities is hiking. In addition, Navjot enjoys a good book, or movie during her spare time, and also enjoys painting.
