Mag Song is a graduate student of the MSc. Sustainability Management at the University of Toronto, and have recently finished her coop placement as a sustainability assistant with the UN Global Compact’s Canadian chapter. During her placement, she got the opportunity to go to the UN headquarters in New York representing Canada at the 15th anniversary of the UN Global Compact. Currently, she is also co-hosting a wholesome living podcast.

Throughout her university career, Mag has held a variety of global internships. She has interned with the National Park Foundation in Washington DC, USA. In Shanghai, she interned with the Walt Disney China Headquarters, where she assisted with the launch and marketing of the Disney Baby website. In 2014, she worked for Smart Air, an American-Chinese eco-start-up, which has been covered by the NYTimes, CNN, BBC, and Bloomberg Business Week, etc. At Smart Air, she took on an entrepreneurial role of expanding the business into the city of Shanghai. Mag has also worked as an assistant to a renowned American food writer Crystyl Mo for 2.5 years, where she gained knowledge in healthy dining, restaurant operations, and agri-business. She was also a Chinese teacher to English speakers.

Mag has an international educational background. She completed her B.A. Business English at Shanghai International Studies University, as well as two overseas semesters at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and Bangkok University in Thailand.

Mag is fluent in English and Mandarin. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, reading, arts, and roaming around the world.
