Bio

Seppi graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Forest Bioeconomy Sciences and Technology at the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus. During her undergraduate experience, Seppi explored the areas of sustainable fashion and educational sustainability initiatives.

Her interest in sustainability management was piqued during her undergraduate experience where she began to understand the disproportion role in which large corporations played in enacting climate change. In her Globalization and Sustainability class, she learned how international corporations could in some cases have more power than governing bodies and non-governmental organizations to enact large-scale sustainable change considering increasingly globalized supply chains. Furthermore, her involvement in conducting an environmental Life Cycle Analysis of new furniture as compared to participation in UBC’s Furniture Reuse Program strengthened her appreciation for evaluating tools to improve sustainable business outcomes. During her undergraduate degree, Seppi worked at the Peatlands Protection Society where she co-authored the book, the “Gardener’s Guide to Saving the Planet”. While the book focuses on sustainable peat alternatives and helping individuals garden more sustainably, her time researching the environmental harm of peat use furthered her understanding in how involving government regulations and corporate responsibility are imperative to reaching sustainable development.

In her spare time, Seppi enjoys biking, hiking, running, and just about any activity that allows her to further explore Vancouver’s natural beauty.
