Brendan McGovern

Brendan graduated in 2014 from Queen’s University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Environmental Studies and Geography. Throughout his undergraduate studies he completed several multidisciplinary courses and eventually developed a passion for sustainability.

Upon graduation, Brendan worked for the Mayor of Ottawa as a Special Assistant for two years. Brendan has also had previous work experiences with organizations with sustainability-based mandates including Hydro Ottawa, Parks Canada and the National Capital Commission.These diverse and challenging work experiences, coupled with his academic background motivated Brendan to pursue a career in sustainable infrastructure development, renewable energy and improving sustainability performance in businesses.

In his spare time Brendan enjoys reading, cooking, travelling, walking and playing rugby.
