Bio

Siddhant Bose completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto Scarborough, where he double majored in International Development Studies and Political Science. His academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of sustainable finance, impact investing, ESG integration, and international development.

His interest in sustainability was shaped through early experiences working on community development and livelihood initiatives across India. Through internships with organizations such as Access Development Services and the Aga Khan Development Network, Siddhant worked on projects focused on refugee livelihoods, enterprise development, and WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) programs. These experiences provided firsthand exposure to the social and environmental challenges faced by underserved communities and sparked a long-standing interest in sustainable development. Later, as a Climate Leader Fellow with Youth Challenge International in Toronto, he collaborated with peers to design and develop community-based climate solutions using design thinking and systems-thinking approaches, further strengthening his interest in climate action and sustainability.

Over the course of his career, Siddhant has worked across sustainability consulting, banking, and impact investing. His experience includes ESG advisory work with Envint Global, banking operations with CIBC in Toronto, and most recently, serving as a Sustainability & ESG Associate at Northern Arc Capital in Mumbai. In this role, he supports environmental and social due diligence, impact measurement, sustainability reporting, ESG integration, and climate finance initiatives across the firm's impact funding investment portfolio. He is particularly interested in how financial institutions can mobilize capital toward sustainable development, climate resilience, and inclusive economic growth.

Outside of work, Siddhant enjoys travelling, cycling, attending concerts and art exhibitions, playing guitar, and producing electronic music. Having lived and worked in both India and Canada, he values diverse perspectives and enjoys learning from different cultures, communities, and experiences.
