Bio

Maggy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from National Taiwan University. Her interest in sustainability - particularly climate change, corporate sustainability, and the circular economy - was sparked during her undergraduate years. She co-founded a social enterprise supporting inclusive employment for people with disabilities, volunteered in remote villages in Taiwan and India, and participated in an exchange at the University of Edinburgh, where she engaged in nine SDG-focused social innovation projects across Europe.

With over five years of corporate sustainability experience, Maggy has worked in both consulting and in-house roles. At KPMG’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services, she supported clients in energy, finance, and retail sectors on ESG strategy, climate-related risk assessment, and sustainability reporting. She then served as Sustainability Office Supervisor at a Certified B Corporation in Taiwan, where she led the company’s decarbonization strategy, reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by over 40%, implemented energy management programs, and achieved PAS 2060 carbon neutrality. Most recently, she worked part-time as a sustainability consultant in Montreal, supporting a multinational client on TCFD analysis and CSRD-aligned ESG target setting.

Maggy is passionate about creating a positive impact for both people and the planet. She aspires to build an international sustainability career and is particularly interested in supporting Canada’s renewable energy transition through strategic, data-driven sustainability leadership.

Outside of work, Maggy enjoys hiking, yoga, and traveling to explore new cultures, eco-friendly practices, and community-based sustainability initiatives.
