Rishabh Nanda has worn many hats while pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Punjabi University, India. Starting from web development in first semester, being President of Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Club,  to his entrepreneurial journey in the last semester, Rishabh has always been very much interested in technology and its use in sustainability. He volunteered at National Service Scheme (NSS)- a government body with socio-economic aim, during his undergrad. He intent to work in implementation of technologies and sustainability policies for achieving global sustainability.

Rishabh has good experience in multiple domains such as operations, business development, market research, project management, sales and marketing, business analysis and client management. During his undergrad, Rishabh was a founding member of Young Hopes Foundation or Young Hopes of India - NGO with an aim of a better India with progressive thinking by youth empowerment & promoting entrepreneurship among gross levels. Apart from various duties as a founding member, Rishabh was solely responsible for Public & Corporate Relations department and had represented the organization in many press conferences and fundraising platforms. The NGO had its operations in 3 provinces of India and was able to open a Youth Development Center just after few months of its operations. To have some diverse cultural experience Rishabh has attended Global Community Development Program at Russia for 2 months.

After completing his undergrad, Rishabh started his own venture named “Uthaao” (http://uthaao.com/) with an aim to provide good quality of rentable commodities such as home furniture, appliances, adventure gears and motorcycles. His ultimate goal was to introduce sustainable products (like efficient and ecofriendly washers, air conditioners, etc.) of such categories in the market. Rishabh’s venture was having its operations in 4 cities of north India. Being cofounder, he had got exposure of many departments such as technical development, risk analysis, vendor management, customer care, business development and sales. The biggest challenge that many startups in similar domain faced was shortage of supply and to solve this issue many shifted to inventory business model. Whereas Rishabh was able to strategize and implement a self-sustaining supply chain with actually owning any product.

In 2017, He joined Mswipe Technologies as Assistant Manager in Enterprise Business Team. At Mswipe, Rishabh assisted the Regional Head (North India) for managing the P&L of various segments of the company. He led a team of 8 senior associates for Enterprise business of PoS/MPoS, Strategic Alliances with banks, payment solution companies and 3PLs, unsecured loans to startups, and ERP solution to organized retails. Rishabh has dealt with high value clients such as in Insurance sector, NBFCs, Utilities, Healthcare, Aviation, Hospitality, Government entities, Organized retail, e-commerce, 3PL, etc. His daily work included- meeting with CXOs of various companies/ startups and converting the deals into probable prospects based on the researched data; discussing technical implementations with respect to their current system; negotiating for an agreeable commercial; Handled partnership relation with ICICI bank, RBL bank and Catholic Syrian bank and their high value clients such as Amazon, SpiceJet Airlines, Apple Stores and many more; and managing team and helping them to achieve their targets.

Rishabh is a fun-loving person and enjoys hanging out with friends and colleagues. Outside professional environment, He enjoys hiking to unexplored hilly destinations. Rishabh likes to watch movies and series, and to discuss about new ideas and innovations. He is always ready for some discussion over a cup of coffee.
