New Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Guides for Researchers
The merits of embedding equity, diversity and inclusion in research are numerous and it is one of U of T’s core values. In addition, the granting agencies NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR require evidence of thoughtful advancement in this area. To support U of T research communities, CRIS has developed three new guides that provide practical tips curated from various sources such as published papers, granting agencies, and other higher education institutions, in all aspects of research including building a team, providing a safe, inclusive environment and research design.
The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Guides were developed with the guidance of the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in Research & Innovation Committee. If you would like to suggest additional resources, please contact CRIS at cris@utoronto.ca.
