Bio
David Poulin is a business professional with a strong interest and commitment to sustainability. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, where he graduated at the top of his class and received multiple academic honors, including the Dean’s Honor List and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Through his active involvement in student associations and business competitions, he earned several awards, most notably the Campaign for a New Millennium Student Contribution Award.
David has built a global career in IT and project management, holding progressive roles at L’Oréal across Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. As Project Manager, he led digital transformation efforts and implemented IT solutions to improve operational performance. In addition to his core roles, David served as DE&I and Sustainability Champion, where he championed intrapreneurship projects for waste reduction and helped foster an inclusive workplace culture. In 2023, he was selected as one of 50 global employees to represent L’Oréal at the One Young World Summit- a pivotal experience that deepened his resolve to integrate sustainability into his career path.
Outside of the corporate world, David has contributed to volunteer projects in India, Mexico, Spain, and Thailand, supporting education, food security, and community development initiatives. He is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and in his free time, he enjoys swimming, trekking, and practicing meditation.
David is passionate about building a career that bridges business transformation with environmental and social impact.
