Bio

Mitchel graduated from the Honors Business Administration program at Ivey Business School in 2014. This was a general business degree but also included sustainability specific courses such as Managing the Triple Bottom Line. As part of this degree, Mitchel consulted for an industry-leading solar panel manufacturer. He also won a case competition for a business plan centred around developing packaging to help consumers identify locally grown produce. Since graduation, Mitchel’s interest in environmental sustainability has continued to grow. Mitchel is focused on helping companies in all industries identify and find solutions to areas along their supply chains where they can reduce their environmental impact.

After graduating from Ivey Business School, Mitchel worked in Audit and Assurance at PwC as an Experienced Senior Associate. While working at PwC, Mitchel earned his Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant designation. Recently, Mitchel worked on his family’s cash crop farm implementing data collection tools which will provide insights for prescription farming in future growing seasons.

Mitchel is interested in running, alpine skiing, vegetarian cooking, and personal waste reduction. Specific to running, Mitchel has completed multiple Ultramarathon trail races. Mitchel recently trained for and completed the Squamish 50 Mile trail race in British Columbia.
