Andrea graduated at the top of her class with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism from Universidad del Norte in Colombia. She also earned a master´s in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University in the United States of America.

Andrea brings over 10 years of experience in strategic communications and reputation management. She excels in public relations, crisis and change management, media relations, and crafting content strategy plans tailored for North American, Asian, and Latin-American markets. Her proven track record includes successfully positioning organizations as thought leaders in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

Additionally, she possesses experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sustainability strategies, including stakeholder management, materiality assessment, and reporting utilizing frameworks such as TCFD, GRI, and SASB.

For more than ten years, she worked at Colombia's largest company and one of Latin America's most important integrated energy conglomerates, where she held different positions. Most recently, she was the Head of Communications for Energy Transition & Sustainability.

Andrea is motivated to help mission-driven companies achieve their sustainability goals, aspiring to influence impactful business decisions that foster positive social and environmental change.

In her spare time, Andrea is curious about all things related to well-being. She enjoys traveling to new places to explore their history, food, and culture and has, so far, visited 24 countries.
