Welcome MScSM Class of 2027 and welcome back MScSM Class of 2026!
As sustainability practitioners we find ourselves in uncertain times. Political headwinds are shifting, alliances are changing, and commitments to sustainability are, in some cases, faltering. As we confront these changing dynamics, let us maintain our stubborn optimism for the future.
The MScSM Program takes a holistic approach to sustainability, rooted in an unyielding love and compassion for the world in which we live—a world worth fighting for no matter the challenges ahead. We will work together to ensure that you are prepared to meet those challenges. The MScSM program is unique in its integrated economic, environmental, and social approach to sustainability. The curriculum blends business management, natural science, and social science, and always through the lens of sustainability. Our core courses are designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and analytical frameworks that many sustainability leaders have identified as essential to their organizations’ sustainability efforts. Graduates of the MScSM program go on to become the leaders that will guide us towards global sustainability—sustainable businesses, communities, and environments. The Class of 2027 is comprised of 31 students—20 domestic and 11 international. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds including engineering, business, chemistry, biology, environmental science, global affairs, political science, sustainable development, and more. They are high achievers, and all share a personal, professional, and academic commitment to sustainability. We look forward to the year ahead!
