
This 4-day intensive course is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the core principles of anatomy, exercise science, program design methods, and gym safety. This course offers a hands-on, practical approach to learning the fundamentals required to become more confident in the gym, create effective workouts, and assist others achieve their fitness goals.
Each day combines classroom instruction with interactive workshops, giving learners the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. Students are expected to change into athletic attire and be physically active during workshops. A written and practical exam will be administered on the last day.
By the end of the course, participants will have a clear understanding of the personal training profession and be well-prepared to pursue full certification or begin working with clients under supervision.
This program is open to all registered University of Toronto students.

- Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (break at 12:00pm-1:00pm)

- Full attendance and participation in both lectures and practical workshops
- Pass written exam with 65% grade or higher
- Pass practical exam (Pass/Fail)
