Led by Sifat Canada, this introductory workshop is open to all skill levels — no prior experience is needed. Come ready to move, express yourself, and connect with other students through dance!
About the Facilitator:
The School of Indian Folk Arts & Tradition (SIFAT) offers Bhangra, Giddha, and Bollywood dance classes across eight locations in and around the GTA. We are proud to be the official Indian dance partners for the Town of Caledon and the City of Cambridge, where we conduct Bhangra classes in many of their community centres. Our mission is to promote and preserve the richness of Indian culture, particularly among youth. We aim to share our traditions with the community through teaching folk dances, music, instruments, regional languages, and Indian history, bringing this vibrant heritage to Canada, a nation celebrated for its multiculturalism since 1971.
