At the RAWC, we're committed to being activators of physical activity and wellness for all members of our diverse community. We aim to provide a space where everyone feels safe and supported to move, play, and make lasting friendships.

In the Fall of 2024, we introduced a slate of new programming to support various groups in our community. Click the title to learn more about the program and reserve your spot in the class or activity.

Low-Sensory Drop-in Hour

Winter 2026: Thursdays @ 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM | Strength & Conditioning Centre (SCC)

Low Sensory Drop‑In Hour is a dedicated workout time designed to provide a calm, serene, and sensory‑friendly environment for individuals who prefer reduced stimulation. During this hour, the SCC is adjusted to create a more comfortable and grounding atmosphere:

  • Lights are dimmed
  • Soft ambient music is played
  • Overall sensory input is minimized
  • Weights cannot be dropped

This space supports anyone who benefits from a quieter, gentler setting: whether due to sensory sensitivities, neurodiversity, anxiety, or simply a desire for a more peaceful workout experience.
