Overview:
As we welcome Fall and its vibrant foliage, some wildflowers are still putting on a show as the last hurrah. Soak in these beautiful sights by joining us for walk around campus and along the UTM nature trail. At this guided event, discover the local plants, ecology and beauty nature has to offer, right at our backyard!
About the Facilitator:
Phuong is a teaching technician at the Department of Biology at UTM. She takes care of the labs of multiple ecology-based upper year courses such as BIO339 (Plant Identification and Systematics), BIO318 (Animal Behaviour), BIO333 (Freshwater Ecology), BIO325 (Biomechanics) and BIO444 (Urban Field Ecology and Evolution). She’s a frequent hiker along many trails around campus to survey for her courses and to admire local biodiversity. She’s hoping to share her love for nature and to showcase how beautiful our campus is.
