Always wanted to try a specific sport? Want to learn the fundamentals and be active on the UTM campus? Try the weekly Learn to Play program for a variety of sports. Sport Instructors will lead weekly sessions that will teach the basic fundamentals and rules of a sport. These sessions are designed for beginner level participants looking to fine tune their skills or those who are considering in trying a sport they never played before.

Mondays, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM and 6:45 PM - 8:15 PM

Discover the exciting sport of pickleball with Professor Pickleball here at UTM. Professor Gerlai program aims to develop paddle skills, serving and returning techniques, court positioning, and game strategies through engaging drills and play.

Mondays, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Players will be introduced to the proper technique for bowling, batting, defensive play and scoring! A terrific opportunity to learn the basics of this sport in a beginner friendly environment.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM and 6:45 PM - 8:15 PM

This is a terrific opportunity to learn the basics of tennis in a beginner friendly environment. Players will be introduced to the proper technique for volleys, serves, forehand and backhand groundstrokes.
