How to Prepare:
- Register early for the event – note, spots are extremely limited.
- Please carefully review the Safety & Risk Awareness webpage before your visit.
- Dress in layers. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer, add an insulating mid-layer (like fleece), and finish with a waterproof/windproof outer shell.
- Wear warm, non-cotton socks, and bring an extra 1-2 pairs should you need them.
- Choose proper winter accessories: Waterproof gloves, a warm hat or helmet liner, and a neck gaiter or buff help retain heat and protect from wind.
- Avoid loose jewelry or dangling clothing attachments. These can get caught on equipment or lift chairs.
- Bring protective eyewear. Ski goggles or UV-protective sunglasses improve visibility and protect against snow glare.
