All Drop-in sport specific protocols will be outlined below. Please review carefully before coming to the Recreation, Athletics & Wellness Centre:

General Guidelines:  

  • Check in with your t-card at the welcome desk before playing.
  • Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled session
  • Wear proper indoor athletic footwear (no socks, sandals, or backless shoes)
  • Respect other participants and share the space fairly. Rotate teams/games after 10 minutes of play.
  • Face masks are welcome in RAWC facilities

INDOOR DROP-IN SPORTS

Please Note: All indoor drop-in sports are played in the RAWC Gym A,B or C

BADMINTON

  • Borrow racquets and birdies at the welcome desk (supplies limited)
  • No playing on sidelines or between courts
  • Bags too large for lockers must go in a designated area

BASKETBALL

  • Borrow basketballs at the desk (bring your own if possible)
  • Half court games are encouraged
  • Respect those practicing shooting/drills.

INDOOR CRICKET

  • Borrow bats and balls at the desk (or confirm your own equipment use)
  • Cricket mats/wickets must stay in place

INDOOR SOCCER

  • Borrow soccer balls (limit : 2 per court)
  • Nets are to be not being moved.

VOLLEYBALL

  • Borrow volleyballs (Limit; 2 per session)
  • No playing on sidelines

PICKLEBALL

  • Borrow paddles and balls at the welcome desk (supplies limited)
  • No playing on sidelines

COURT RESERVATION SPORTS (SQUASH, TENNIS, TABLE TENNIS)

Please Note: you can reserve your spot to use the court using the court booking system or walk up to the Welcome desk to book the court.

Participants will have to abide by the standby procedures outlined in the Court Booking website

  • Reserve courts at least 48 hours in advance or come to the welcome desk to book
  • Borrow equipment at desk (bring your own if possible)

OUTDOOR SPORTS - BEACH VOLLEYBALL, TENNIS, PICKLEBALL, FIELD  Beach Volleyball, tennis,pickleball, field sports (Soccer,football, frisbee)  

*Please Note: All outdoor fields will be open from beginning of June to end of October of each year

  • Borrow equipment at desk (Limit is 2 balls per court)
  • Outdoor locations near Mannjiwe Nendamowinan Building & parking lot #8
