Women's Only Programming at UTM

These programs and times have been set aside to encourage women of all athletic ablities to come out and enjoy a swim, a dance, take a lesson, or get a workout. Enjoy the encouragment and support of other women in a safe and fun environment!

Drop in - Women's Only Fitness

Drop in Boot Camp

  • Dates and Times: Thursdays: 11:10 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Location: Fitness Studio (Visually Isolated Area)

Drop in Fitness Centre

  • Dates and Times: Tuesdays: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM & Thursdays: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

 Drop in Indoor Cycling

Eagles Workout Buddies

Don't want to go to the Drop-In classes alone?

Eagles Workout Buddies is a women’s only pilot program designed for UTM students to easily find like-minded peers to help achieve their fitness goals. Whether you are looking for an intense training partner or new to working out, Eagles Workout Buddies is for people of all fitness levels.

Absolute Beginner - Level 1

Basic Swim - Level 2

Self Defense

Wen-do - Women's Self Defense Course- This is a one evening course to give you a sample of Wen-do

  • Dates and Times: January 29th
  • Thursdays: 6:00 PM - 9:00pm
  • Location: Spigel Hall

What is Wen-Do? Wen-Do Women's Self Defense is a registered charity and the oldest women's self defense organization in Canada. Our courses have been recommended by the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre: Multicultural Women Against Rape, the University of Toronto Community Safety Office, and Toronto Police. This course is brought to you by Campus Police in partnership with Student Housing & Residence Life, Student Affairs, Equity & Diversity, HCC, the Department of Athletics and Recreation, The International Education Centre,  The Office of Student Transition and The Office of the Registrar
