Travelling to Canada

Are you intending on traveling to Canada?

As a new or returning UTM student, you should have the following documents when entering Canada:

  1. A valid study permit or a Letter of Introduction confirming that your study permit has been approved by IRCC
  2. A valid Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
  3. A valid passport
  4. A current Fall/Winter 2021/2022 Confirmation of Enrollment letter
  5. UTM Letter of Acceptance (first year students only or students who have never entered Canada before)
  6. Proof of funds
  7. Proof of valid immigration medical examination (if required)
  8. COVID-19 pre-entry molecular test result
  9. Documentation related to your quarantine plan
  10. Submit ArriveCAN receipt before boarding your plane
  11.  Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (if applicable)
