Are you new to Canada or have not had the chance to explore the country but want to learn more about Canada’s peoples and places, food and culture, holidays and landmarks, seasons and weather as well as meet peers and go on fun trips to explore your new home away for home?
Then this program is for YOU!
Join us for a bi-weekly mini-series, filled with learning and fun as we explore Canada from all aspects. Our bi-weekly series will be coupled with trips to not only promote experiential learning but also give students the opportunity to connect and have fun.
Students who participate in at least 3 series will be eligible for Co-Curricular Record notation.
Some experiences to look forward to:
- Trip to Niagara Falls (September)
- Food tasting: Snack on Canadian foods and chat about the cuisine with fellow peers (October)
- Join other peers to do winter clothes shopping (November)
- Christmas Market Adventures: Get hot cocoa and explore Toronto’s Kensington Market (December)
