Immigration advising drop-ins: Tuesday-Wednesday, 1:00-3:00pm, at DV2091A (On a first come, first served basis).

Immigration Advising (1st & 2nd Year Students) - Appointments for first and second year students to get advice on immigration matters including:
- Study Permits
- Working on and off-campus
Immigration Advising (3rd Year & Beyond Students, Graduate Students and Recent Grads) - Upper-year students (3rd year & beyond) and recent grads get advice on immigration matters including;
- Post-graduation work permit
- Co-op work permit
- Permanent residency
- Refugee status
Global Learning Advising - Learn how to add international experience to your studies via the exciting array of travel, study, research or internship opportunities available through Exchange, UTM Abroad and Global Classrooms.
Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Debrief and Coaching - In this 30-minute debrief and coaching appointment, a Qualified Administrator (QA) will go over your IDI Individual Profile Report as well as go over your Individual Development Plan. The goal is to help you understand where you are at in terms of your intercultural learning journey and help you create a plan to enhance your intercultural competence. On-Location Counseling Services - Students who are registered with the International Education Centre have access to on-location counselling services provided by the Health & Counselling Centre (HCC). Counselling appointments can be scheduled directly with the HCC by calling (905) 828-5255 on Mondays and requesting the on-location counsellor for the IEC. Appointments can take place in person in the International Education Centre, virtually or over the phone. Students may access either same-day appointments or appointments that are scheduled in advance. Some issues that could be discussed in counselling include anxiety, stress, depression, body image, relationship issues and procrastination, among many others. How to Book
Appointments can be booked Monday through Friday. Appointments are 30 minutes.
Follow these steps to book your appointment today:
- Log into CLNx
- Under the CLN Dashboard menu on the left-hand side, click on “Appointments”
- Click “UTM (Mississauga)”
- Click “International Education Centre”
- Click “UTM IEC Appointments”
- Click “Book by Appointment Type”
- Find the Appointment Type you would like to book and click “Book”
- Available dates will appear on the left-hand side.
- Select a date and time.
- Enter your phone number & reason for booking.
- Click “Book Appointment”
- You will receive a confirmation email with detail for how to join your appointment.
