Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is the department of the Government of Canada with responsibility for issues dealing with immigration and citizenship. IRCC advises visitors, students and workers to submit immigration applications online for faster processing.

As an international or exchange student, it is important for you to be aware of Canadian immigration requirements that affect you.

We strongly recommend that you apply for your study permit online as soon as you receive your letter of acceptance. The IEC provides immigration advising available by appointment to help guide you through this process. You can also attend a webinar to learn how to apply.
