Political Science Opportunities

Partners were selected due to their world rankings, research collaborations, unique program offerings, and distinct geographical areas. Australian National University

Australian National University (ANU) is the top ranked university in Australia. 94% of the research conducted at the university is rated above world standards.  The Australian National University has the highest staff to student ratio allowing all students to interact and gain support from professors. 

Did You Know?

  • ANU is the only university set up by the Federal Government of Australia. The university was created to be a research institution for subjects of national importance
  • ANU is located in Canberra, Australia’s capital. Canberra is home to the National Gallery of Australia - the largest art museum in the country

Sciences Po

Sciences Po has seven multicultural campuses located in the heart of European cultural cities with exceptional historical and architectural heritage. These campuses create a community of students where nearly half of Sciences Po’s students are international, representing 150 countries.

University of Copenhagen

The University of Copenhagen is the largest institution of research and education in Denmark. Eight researchers from the university have been awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics and Medicine.  An Annual Commemoration is held in November where the Queen of Denmark regularly attends which is followed by a night at the Royal Danish Theatre or the Opera.

  • Copenhagen was voted the “happiest and safest city in the world” in 2013 by the UN
  • Home of the Kronborg Castle, made famous by Shakespeare’s play Hamlet

    University of Konstanz

    University of Oslo

    The University of Oslo was established in 1811 and is now recognized as Northern Europe’s most prestigious university. It is the oldest and largest universities in Norway.  From 1947 to 1989 the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to recipients at the university’s atrium and since 2003 the Abel price is presented from the atrium.

    University of St. Andrews

    Established in 1413, the University of St. Andrews is Scotland’s first university and the third oldest in the English speaking world. Located on the east coast of Scotland, surrounded by golf courses and beaches, the university is a mixture of historical buildings with modern facilities. Over the last 600 years, the university has a reputation as one of the world’s leading research and teaching centres. 

    Did You Know?

    • A superstition exists at this university, that if a student steps on the initials on Patrick Hamilton, marked in the cobbles outside of St. Salvator’s Quad, they will face risking bad luck and possible exam failure. Tradition holds that the only way to break the curse is to run backwards three times around the quad at the change of class, naked. Alternatively, the student may participate in the May Dip, which is when students gather on the beach and run into the North Sea at sunrise
    • The University manages 'the best small theatre in Scotland', providing an educational resource, general arts venue and music centre
