During this semester, LAUNCH Leaders are enrolled in EDS377H5: Why The First Year Of University Matters: The Impact of Peer Mentoring, in which they learn more about student transition, identity development, and skills to support students. The internship component comprises of facilitating weekly sessions for new students that cover a range of topics (e.g., time management, connecting with faculty, academic skill development) that allows LAUNCH Leaders to apply what they learned from their classroom and discover their unique leadership style!

As a LAUNCH Leader, you will also have the opportunity to build a community with other LAUNCH Leaders and create long-lasting friendships. This unique role will allow you to gain professional experience, receive an academic credit, make friends, and have fun!
