Black Excellence Orientation at UTM

We are excited to have you join us!

Welcome! As you transition into this new phase of your life, we would like to extend an invitation for you to join us at our Black Excellence Orientation at UTM. This orientation is designed to welcome Black-identified students to our beautiful campus, introduce Black-specific tools, tips, and resources to support the transition to university life, as well as spotlight upper-year students, alumni, staff, and faculty.

Day 1 (Thursday, August 18th, 2022)

Join us in person and virtually for our 1st Day as we kick off Black Excellence Orientation. We will begin promptly at 10 AM EST both in person (at the Blind Duck Pub) and virtually (on zoom). Please review the full agenda PDF for more details. An accessible PDF alternative is also available

Black Excellence Orientation

Day 2 (Friday, August 19th, 2022)

Join us for a new addition this year, we will be having a Black BBQ for a chance to build community and make connections. This event will be in person from 1 - 4 PM EST at CCT Courtyard in UTM. Please review the full agenda PDF for more details. An accessible PDF alternative is also available.
