There are two payment schedules to follow as the new academic session approaches:
- Registration deadline (before classes begin)
- Payment deadlines to minimize or avoid service charges (after classes begin)
Registration Deadline
Your tuition fee invoice will be available mid-July, as long as you're enrolled in at least one course. Confirm your attendance by making a minimum payment or deferring your fees if you're receiving a government student loan or scholarship.

Service Charges
Once classes begin, your outstanding fees are subject to a monthly service charge at a rate of 1.5% compounded (19.56% annually) until your balance is paid in full.
Tips and Considerations
- Follow the tuition refund deadline when you're considering dropping a course
- Avoid service charges by paying your fees in full or minimize service charges by making monthly payments
- Changes to your course load can mean changes to your invoice, so monitor accordingly
- It can take 2-5 business days for your payment to process. Service charges are applied on the balance as of the billing date and are not negotiable or reassessed. Give your financial institution plenty of time to make sure your payment is received on ACORN before the monthly service charge date!
