
Graduating students who have excelled academically will earn an additional notation on both their transcript, and University of Toronto diploma. Students who graduate with a Cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above will graduate with high distinction. Students who graduate with a Cumulative GPA of 3.20 to 3.49 will graduate with distinction.
Graduation Awards - Automatic Consideration
- Founders Gold Medal is awarded to an outstanding graduating student. Personal qualities are considered along with excellence in academic achievement.
- E.A. Robinson Medals: One medal awarded to the top graduating students in each of the following categories: part-time studies; humanities; sciences; social sciences
- Governor General's Silver Medal Nominees are selected from the top graduating students. Award winners selected from a University-wide pool of nominations and are determined by a selection committee from Admissions and Awards. All nominees receive a certificate in recognition of their achievement.
