Aquatic Classes

Aquafit

Aquafit is a fun and challenging low-impact fitness class designed for the pool using the resistance of the water. Join us for intervals of cardio, strength, core and flexibility using the water belts, aqua weights, and noodles.

Cardio Classes

Indoor Cycling

Increase your cardio and strength with our indoor cycling class. Get the heart pumping with a series of sprints, hills and drills to build endurance, burn calories and relieve stress. This multi-level class will motivate you through music and moves that allow you to set the intensity of your workout and cruise at your own pace. 

Cycle Fusion 

Need help choosing your workout focus? Join us for this fun fusion of cardio and other various modalities. Classes will get your heart racing with an indoor cycling ride blended with a variety of flexibility, core and/or bodyweight resistance work.

Plyo HIIT

Join us in this High Intensity Interval Training class (H.I.I.T.) emphasizing plyometric movements to build cardiovascular stamina, muscular endurance and metabolic conditioning!

HIIT & Movement 

A full-body workout that will get your heart rate up and strengthen your entire body without any equipment. Expect fluid movement sequences with small rounds of HIIT that are easy to follow and fun to do. Low impact and apartment-friendly options will always be offered.

Cardio HIIT

A 45-minute, high intensity interval training class for all fitness levels. You will use a variety of cardiovascular  and resistance training equipment such as Ski Ergs, Rowers, Curve Treadmills, weights and more to build cardiovascular and muscular endurance.

 Rowfit

Join us in these express 30-minute small group classes! Rowing is a total body workout great for developing your cardiovascular fitness and muscular system at the same time. Maximize your results in the minimum amount of time.

Strength Classes

Boot Camp

A high-intensity class that incorporates plyometrics, strength and interval training. Build your cardiovascular and muscular endurance using various types of equipment and bodyweight movements. Challenge yourself and get ready for a top to bottom workout. 

Glutes, Core & More...

Join us today for our Pilates-inspired fitness class that offers the benefits of Pilates training with an emphasis on the powerhouse muscles including glutes and hips, abdominals, low back and deep pelvic floor muscles. Join us to get your strength back into your glutes and core!

Barbell 101 

Barbells are one of the most essential pieces of equipment in the gym. They can help you lose weight, reduce body fat, increase strength, and build muscle. Knowing how intimidating they can be, our trainers will provide you with a supportive space to get comfortable using barbells and teach you the proper form for the squat, deadlift, bench press and row. This is a technique-oriented class.

Strength & Conditioning

This program is designed to educate and support those seeking to enhance athletic performance. Using a variety of tools and methods for training strength, speed, and power, this program will emphasize movement quality and injury prevention while improving general health. Strength & Conditioning is evidence-based programming focused on progressive-overload with consideration of the specific demands of sport.

Pilates

Achieve a balanced and toned body with the ultimate core fitness workout!  Incorporate Pilate’s postures with traditional core exercises to help improve posture, strength, and range of motion.

 

Mind & Body Classes

Power Yoga

A workout that offers strength, flexibility and mental focus (based on Ashtanga/Vinyasa style yoga). Pump up your heart by moving through active and passive postures in a fluid and faster pace than traditional Hatha style yoga. Sequencing and class pace varies by instructor.

Yogilates

Yogilates blends the movements and postures of yoga with the core-focused exercises of Pilates. It is a modern form of fitness instruction incorporating strength, flexibility and relaxation techniques into one 50-minute class.

Hatha Yoga

This gentle class begins with a guided meditation, introduces yoga postures to stretch and strengthen the body, and teaches relaxation practices to reduce stress and calm the mind. Taught in a supportive environment, this class is ideal for beginners, but all levels are welcome.

 

Rest & Restore Yoga

Restoration yoga is a gentle, passive stretch that allows a balance between mind, body and breath including guided breathing and relaxation. Postures are held up to five minutes each, allowing a deeper level of relaxation and flexibility. Leave feeling relaxed focused and rejuvenated.

Pilates & Barre Fusion

This class incorporates exercises from different workout styles—including barre, yoga, strength training, cardio, and dance—to give a modern twist to Mat Pilates. You can expect an effective full-body workout every class and to have fun while you're doing it.

Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness is about being present and in the moment.  Our 20 minute mediation class is facilitated by Counsellors from the Health & Counselling Centre, these free, drop-in classes foster an accepting, non-judgmental environment to learn and practice different forms of mindful meditation.  No prior experience with mindfulness or meditation is required -- everyone is welcome, students, staff, and faculty!  Lower Stress.  Improve Mood.  Feel Better.

Yoga & Mindfulness

In collaboration with  the Health & Counselling Centre, we are pleased to  offer a weekly 30-minute drop-in Yoga and Mindfulness practice.  We will start with a yoga stretch and finish with a  meditation practice. Mindfulness is about being present and in the moment.  No prior experience with yoga, mindfulness or meditation is required -- everyone is welcome, students, staff, and faculty! Lower Stress.  Improve Mood.  Feel Better.
