As a facilitator, educator, and strategic leader, Martin mobilizes people, develops programs and creates authentic experiences that bring about transformative change at the individual, systemic and community levels. Before joining the University of Toronto Mississauga, Martin designed and implemented programs and policies in settlement and integration, equity, diversity and inclusion, and community engagement, for racialized and underrepresented individuals across the City of Toronto and at the Regional Municipality of York Region.

Martin holds a Master in Public Administration from Queen's Univerisity and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Political Science. In his role at UTM, he leverages his expertise to support student development through experiential learning opportunities in access to education-related programming across Halton and Peel Regions. Away from work, Martin is an avid Chelsea fan and enjoys visiting conservation parks in the Greater Toronto Area.
