Laura Walkling

Laura completed her Master of Teaching from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and her Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto Mississauga.

With ten years of non-traditional teaching experience under her belt, she moved to the United Kingdom where she taught English and History in inner-city London secondary schools for two years. Returning to Canada in 2016, Laura returned to her roots of working in the post-secondary field.

Laura joined the Centre for Student Engagement in 2017 where she worked as the Student Success Coordinator of Transition Programs managing the LAUNCH and REACH programs as well as pre-arrival communications for New-to-UTM students.
