The Wendat have a long history in the part of Turtle Island that we now call Ontario. The villages and belongings of Wendat ancestors are commonly found across southern Ontario. In our collaborative research projects, members of the Wendat Nation and archaeologists work together to address questions of interest to the Nation. We aim to use non-destructive or minimally impactful methods and we convey our findings in a range of formats.
