Start early with summer events, such as UTM Head Start, a series of interactive, discipline-specific sessions led by faculty, librarians, and staff; the Summer Academic Skills Institute (S.A.S.I), a comprehensive learning and academic skills program for all incoming UTM students with disabilities; and New Student Advising, your one-stop shop for everything related to course and program enrolment.

EagleConnect: Your New Student Community
Excited for September, but don’t know where to start? Look no further than EagleConnect – an online program designed to make your transition into university as smooth and successful as possible. Starting in early June, there will be new interactive modules uploaded each week to Quercus (UTM’s online learning platform), filled with key information, deadlines, and fun ways to get to know your new classmates. Each community, known as an “Eagle Squad,” is led by an upper-year student leader who is there to support you along your journey and answer your questions! You are automatically enrolled into EagleConnect and will receive an email before the program starts letting you know exactly how to access it.
