Theatre and Drama Studies Offers
Applicants who meet the academic requirements for Theatre and Drama Studies at U of T Mississauga will first receive an offer of admission to the Humanities, pending the results of their audition.
If your audition is successful:
We will contact you and your offer will be automatically updated to Theatre and Drama Studies. We can't usually make immediate offers to all applicants who had a successful audition; however, if your performance was strong enough to qualify for admission, we will place you on a waitlist even if we cannot make you an offer right away. We will inform you if this applies to you and will contact you again if and when a spot becomes available.
If your audition isn’t successful:
If it is unsuccessful, but you otherwise are still academically qualified, your admission to Humanities will remain secure. The Humanities at UTM is home to outstanding English and Drama programs, including our Major in Drama and Dramaturgy – a great environment to explore your creativity and build a strong foundation as a future director, dramaturge, or theatre critic. You’ll also have another opportunity to audition for Theatre and Drama Studies in your first year at UTM.
