Eligibility & Registration

Only students applying to the Theatre and Drama Studies program should register for an audition.

As a component of your application to Theatre & Drama Studies, you are required to book an audition, which is weighted equally with your academic average. Please book your Theatre & Drama Studies audition as soon as possible and pay the $40 audition fee.

The deadline to register and pay for your audition was February 4, 2022 at 11:59pm ET. The audition scheduler is now closed for 2022.

The Audition

Once you have registered and paid for your audition, you will receive detailed information on what you need to prepare for your electronic audition submission. Please ensure that you review these documents carefully for detailed guidelines. Applicants for September 2022 will need to prepare and complete the following audition components:



  • One Classical Monologue
  • One Modern/Contemporary Monologue
  • One Song
  • The Interview (self-recorded video)


Required Documents

  • Two References (educators or industry professionals) 
  • Audition Questionnaire
  • New Applicant Address Form

All auditions will be online video submissions. Auditions are recorded by you and submitted electronically to Sheridan College. You will receive an email from Sheridan in mid-February, outlining how to access the audition submission portal. All audition materials must be submitted by Monday February 28, 2022 by 12:00pm ET. Please be sure to check your e-mail (including your junk/spam folders) regularly and add “” to your email safe list. These emails will provide you with additional information about the audition submission process. You are encouraged to start preparing your submission as soon as you have booked and paid for your audition!
