Learning how to apply to U of T Mississauga is a fairly straightforward process. We'll walk you through how to plan your high school prerequisites, prepare your application, and choose a program/degree that meets your future goals. Every year, we publish a Viewbook that provides a concise overview of campus life, our community, campus services, admission requirements, and interesting stories about our students, faculty, and alumni. We have over 180 program options, neatly organized into 12 Admission Programs. When applying you'll need to pick the admission category that has the program you want to study. How do you decide which ones to pick? Sometimes, it helps to decide by seeing what the future holds. Our Program Plans are quick overviews of the many academic and co-curricular opportunities available within each program. You could also explore our Careers by Major database because it identifies some potential career fields related to choice of program. If you're still looking, you can also dive directly into our Academic Calendar which goes into every detail about every program on campus.

After Applying

While we review your application, we invite you to learn more about your future home by speaking with our students and staff, experience our beautiful campus first-hand with a campus visit, and research the many opportunities available to you as a student here. Here are a few of your next steps:

JOIN U of T Applicant Website

Approximately one week after submitting your application online, you will receive an email with instructions to access the Join U of T applicant website. Check this site regularly for updates on the status of your application, notification of offers, and any additional information you may need to provide.

Submit

Submitting Documents

In some cases, we may ask for additional documentation not automatically provided by your educational institution. This may include academic transcripts, English language test scores, letters of explanation, etc. Instructions for submitting these documents are listed on the Join U of T website.

Theatre & Drama Auditions

Eligible applicants to Theatre & Drama Studies will be invited to audition sometime in December. Instructions will be emailed to eligible applicants detailing how to submit your audition electronically.

Housing

Housing Application

If you are planning to live on campus and want to qualify for guaranteed residence, you must complete Step One of the StarRez Application. The application opens on January 15, 2023 and closes on March 31, 2023.
