A Few Notes

You must apply for a different area of study than your first degree, whether your previous undergraduate degree(s) is from another university, another U of T division, or U of T Mississauga.

Example:

If you completed a previous degree including a program in English, you may not complete a second degree including a program in English.

The HBA or HBSc you pursue at U of T Mississauga may not include a program(s) in any of the same discipline(s) as your first degree.

Example:

If you completed a previous degree with a program in Commerce, Management, or Economics, you may not pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) as a second degree.

Please contact us if you have questions about whether the area of study you have studied in is different enough from what you intend on applying to.

Students beginning a second degree at U of T Mississauga are normally exempted from the first year of the degree requirements by being granted 5.0 credits, 4.0 at the 100 level and 1.0 at the 200 level, regardless of the number of previous degrees held.
