Eagle Orientation Presents: July Takeoff

July Take-Off is a virtual orientation program for incoming UTM students, helping them prepare for the community and academic culture at UTM, as well as the course enrolment process.  

What to Expect 

Each of our interactive sessions consists of three components: 

  1. You at UTM - Current students and recent graduates share about student life at UTM;
  2. Faculty Connect - UTM Faculty and upper year students provide advice to help prepare for academic life at UTM; 
  3. Course Enrollment Check-Ins - Academic Advisors share information about the course enrollment process and answer your questions! 

Looking to attend just the Course Enrollment Check-in? Course Enrollment Check-ins with an Academic Advisor run daily between 9:30 and 11 AM and 1:30 and 3 PM. Please register or log-in here to join the sessions. 

Can’t attend the session for your intended program of study? No problem! You are welcome to join another session at a time that works for you! 

July Take-Off - Checklist. 1. Find the schedule and register at uoft.me/eagleorientation. Register for one session based on your undergraduate admission program. 2. Attend your session online via zoom. A zoom link will be emailed to you after registration. 3. Complete the event reflection. You will be entered into a UofT Merch raffle and gain CCR recognition.

This event is open to all incoming UTM students and hosts various sessions for each undergraduate admission program (see here for: undergraduate programs list). Session dates and times will vary based on your undergraduate program. There will be multiple sessions for certain programs; you only have to register and attend one.
