CSE events are an integral part of the UTM student experience — designed to help all students connect, grow, and thrive within our campus community.

Through a diverse range of events and initiatives, we create spaces that foster belonging, encourage meaningful connections, and build bridges between students, peers, and faculty beyond the classroom. Whether it’s through creative social programming, academic engagement opportunities, or collaborative campus-wide events, our goal is to help students make the most of their UTM journey.

At their core, Engagement Events are about people — creating moments where students can make new friends, engage with faculty in informal settings, and experience UTM’s vibrant community spirit.

Art Across Civilizations: The Global Cultural Workshop

Art Across Civilizations: The Global Cultural Workshop invites you to explore cultures from around the world through hands-on creativity.

Join us for an interactive experience where you’ll learn directly from faculty and dive into artistic practices inspired by different global traditions. From embroidery and ceramics to printmaking and textile design, each workshop offers a unique opportunity to create, connect, and learn in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

No prior experience needed just bring your curiosity! Whether you’re looking to try something new, de-stress, or engage with culture in a creative way, this is your space to explore and express yourself.
