What is STEER?

The STEER Program supports students as they transition into their second year and upper years by helping them intentionally build and navigate their university experience. Unlike first-year transition programs that focus on adjusting to university life, this program builds community while emphasizing academic confidence, career readiness, financial literacy, resource awareness, campus involvement, and self-efficacy. STEER is a five-week program that offers engaging, in-person sessions designed to support students throughout their transition and development.

STEER Session Schedule

STEER sessions will be offered over 5 consecutive weeks, with participants choosing either the Monday or Thursday session stream. Please select the day and time that best fits your schedule below.

Please note that participants must:

  • Attend at least 4 of the 5 sessions to complete the program.
  • Be available for the full 90-minute session each week.
