At the University of Toronto, we award over 3,600 undergraduate admission scholarships each year. This past year alone, we awarded over $2 million in entrance scholarships and more through in-course awards.
When you are admitted to the University of Toronto Mississauga, you are automatically assessed and may be eligible for scholarships based on academic excellence and other criteria. You are notified of your eligibility for an entrance scholarship when receiving your offer of admission.
You can also apply to some application-only scholarships, which are also predominantly based on academic excellence, but many also consider extracurricular activities, require references, or require nomination.
U of T Mississauga partners with local organizations to offer a few scholarships available exclusively to incoming and current U of T Mississauga students.
After your first year, you may qualify for additional scholarships and awards. These awards are generally based on your achievements during subsequent years of study. Some are automatically considered, and others require applications. More information is available on the Office of the Registrar's website.
