Connor Savery
Hometown: Oakville, Ontario
About me: Going off to university for the first time, I was terrified that I would be all alone and struggling to succeed. Luckily, when I arrived, I found I was welcomed into a vibrant community with incredible opportunities to grow and develop both academically, personally, and professionally. Since my graduation, I have worked in undergraduate recruitment at two different universities in a variety of portfolios, and in addition to promoting the University of Toronto to prospective students, my particular passions include supporting non-traditional applicants and helping motivated students discover pathways to post-secondary education. If you’re looking to learn more about UTM or how you can become a part of our community, let’s chat!

About me: I am happy to hear you are interested in joining UTM! I am a U of T alumni, completing an HBSc with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. I am also conducting research for my MA at OISE. I chose U of T because it provided me with a world-class education and the foundations to pursue research after my undergrad. Looking back at my undergraduate degree, I commuted to campus daily. I spent much of my time balancing school and work. This led to various careers, including working in human resources, healthcare, and education. With the above-mentioned experience, I aim to ensure you have the best information to make the right decisions for your future. I can't wait to meet you and learn more about your academic and professional goals. Opportunities await!

About me: I am so excited that you are considering joining the U of T community! I am a proud UTM alum, having completed a HBSc with a double major in Psychology and Criminology, Law & Society. I chose UTM because it provided me with a world-class education and all of the benefits that come from being part of the largest Canadian University, but it also offered me the opportunity to study on a mid-sized University campus. I stepped onto campus for a tour and immediately felt at home. While a student, I was a member of the UTM Dance Team and I worked as a Don in Residence and a Student Ambassador in the Office of Student Recruitment & Admissions. This led to me pursuing a career in Higher Education. I love that I get to meet students from all over the world who are considering making U of T a part of their educational journey. There are so many opportunities waiting for you here!
