Young Anthropology Artwork and Photography Submission Form

This form is only for currently registered University of Toronto Mississauga undergraduate students who wish to submit original artwork or photography for consideration to Young Anthropology, the Undergraduate Journal of Anthropology at the University of Toronto Mississauga.

Medium (e.g. pencil sketch, digital artwork, digital photograph, watercolour painting)

Year the artwork or photograph was created

Provide a brief description of the image and how it relates to anthropology (i.e. the anthropological context). This should not exceed 100 words.

Are you enrolled in a UTM Anthropology program (specialist, major or minor)?

By submitting this webform, I agree to the following statements:

I will only submit one image for consideration.
I own the copyright for the artwork or photograph I am submitting (I am the artist or photographer).
I have obtained permission from any identifiable individuals to publish the artwork or photograph online.
I give Young Anthropology permission to publish my artwork or photograph in the Young Anthropology online journal.
I give Young Anthropology permission to publish my artwork or photograph in promotional materials on the Department of Anthropology website, printed materials, slides, etc.
My submission is large enough/high enough resolution to fill the width of a letter-sized (8.5" x 11") page.
My submission is between 72 and 300 dpi.
My submission is .jpeg or .png format.
I will send my image via email from my @mail.utoronto.ca email account to young.anthropology@utoronto.ca.
Young Anthropology may modify my image file to fit the layout and design of the journal. This could include cropping, scaling, as well as adjusting the image contrast, brightness, or saturation.
Young Anthropology may edit the description I provide for publication.
