  • Support the delivery and facilitation of existing events and initiatives within UTM HCC, as needed.

  • Conduct research to develop evidence-based content and programming.
  • Respond to student inquiries and engage students in relevant, proactive wellness conversations.

  • Provide insights and perspectives into the development of wellness programming, both in the clinic and across campus.

  • Participate in health promotion events and share feedback with the goal to enhance the development of healthy systems at UTM.

  • Forge meaningful connections with students by providing 1-1 mentorship and guiding mentees towards personal and academic success. 

  • Offer peer support on a weekly basis at our Wellness Den. 

  • Facilitate monthly wellness workshops at our Wellness Den and respond to other wellness-based workshops from partners as needed.

  • Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of wellness initiatives for the UTM student community. 

  • Maintain and share knowledge about on and off campus supports and services available to UTM students. 

  • This program will be further divided into one of the following four streams of the continuously evolving UTM Health Promotion Strategy: (1) Wellness Communications, (2) Wellness Events, (3) Wellness Den, and (4) Wellness Navigation.
