Embrave

Embrave

Embrave is an anti-violence organization that provides shelter, counselling, advocacy and supports to all women and two-spirit, genderqueer, trans and non-binary people (with or without dependents), who experience, have experienced or are at risk of experiencing any form of violence. Embrave works within a feminist, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, anti-colonial, queer and trans positive, disability positive, and harm reduction framework to provide client-centred supportive services to diverse communities.

Statement of Land Acknowledgement

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
