Business Minor Courses

The Minor in Business, Science and Entrepreneurship will require students to complete the following 4.0 credits:

ECO101H5 - Principles of Microeconomics

To apply for the IMI Minor, students most complete ECO1015H. It is highly suggested to have students complete this course during the first year of studies (or in the Summer prior to their second year). This will give students extra time in planning their UTM programs. If students take ECO in their second year, they can still apply for entry into the IMI Business Minor, but it means that they will have to focus their remaining upper-years in completing the IMI Business Minor courses.

See the UTM Timetable Builder for various ECO101H5 course offerings.

NOTE: ECO105Y1: Principles of Economics for Non-Specialists offered at the St. George Campus is an acceptable alternative for ECO101H5 as a prerequisite for entrance into the IMI Business Minor.
