Meet the Team
Saanika Parkhi, MBiotech (DHT) ’27
President
What I find most interesting about AI is its ability to uncover patterns we can’t see, especially in the healthcare sector. From predicting outcomes to improving patient care, it’s incredible how algorithms can help us make smarter, more human-centric decisions. My background in biotechnology, business, and data science has made me curious about how these fields come together through AI.
I joined the IMI AI Club because I wanted to build a community that learns by experimenting. This year, my goal is to make things more hands-on through team projects, hackathons, and collaborations across IMI programs. Whether it’s tackling a UTM challenge or diving into a healthcare dataset my goal is for every member to walk away having built something real and with the confidence to turn curiosity into innovation.
